Flower Guild
St. Luke’s Flower Guild needs more members and assistance. No experience is necessary. We can pair you with one of the regular Flower Guild members to show you the basics regarding buying nd arranging the flowers. St. Luke's generally covers the full cost of any flowers purchased. If you do not want to commit to a regular schedule (usually once every 4-6 weeks), the Flower Guild welcomes "guest florists" for a single Sunday.
If you have any interest, questions or suggestions, please contact Libby Pugel (673-4114) or libbypugel@aol.com. Don't be left in the underbrush - Join our fun flowering group!
Coffee Hour
Please sign up for Coffee Hour this summer.

OUTREACH
Sandwiches for Seniors
We need a few more families or individuals to step to the plate and be responsible for making and delivering 60 brown bag lunches to Canon Kip House on one Saturday morning later this summer and fall. Kathleen Meeker, coordinator for this effort, has all the info needed and will get it to you when you have volunteered. This is a wonderful opportunity to do a bit of “community service” and help out the homeless and hungry seniors.
We still need help for the following dates: July 24, September 25, December 26
Please email Kathleen if you can help:kathleen@my-rosegarden.com.
Food Pantry
The Old First Interfaith Food Pantry is coming this fall. The Rector is looking for two St. Luke’s parish coordinators to facilitate our own volunteers for the designated St. Luke’s Saturdays. The five participating congregations are hoping to open for business on Saturday, September 18. The St. Luke’s kick-off will be October 16. Please contact Dana if you’d like to coordinate our participation in the food pantry.
Food Bank
St. Luke’s congregation supports the San Francisco Food Bank by donating non-perishable food each month to a barrel located near the entrance to the church. Items needed per family are 1 bag of pasta; 2 cans of vegetables; 1 can of tuna or chicken; 1 can of chili, soup, or chicken— no glass please.
